The Mathematics of Conformal Field Theory" is one of many events hosted by the 2015 MSI special year on "Geometry and Physics" and is a joint enterprise with the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences Collaborative Research Group (CRG) in "Geometry and Physics".  The aim is to bring together international leaders from both the mathematics and mathematical physics communities in a conference setting so as to foster communication and collaboration between these parties.

The topics of the conference include (but are not limited to):

  • Higher spin theories
  • Hopf algebras (quantum groups and Nichols algebras)
  • Lie superalgebras
  • Logarithmic conformal field theory
  • Mathieu moonshine
  • Mock / Quantum modular forms
  • Tensor categories
  • Representation theory
  • Statistical lattice models
  • Vertex operator algebras

Conference registration will close 1 July 2015
