MATH6209 - Special Topics in Mathematics: Geometry of gauge fields (Donaldson theory)

The main topic is to apply the moduli space of anti-self dual Yang-Mills connections to study smooth structures on 4-manifolds, in particular, the non-standard smooth structures on R^4.

Prerequisites are vector calculus, basic differential geometry, and Analysis II.
