Each year the Mathematical Sciences Institute may offer an award known as the ''Tim and Margaret Bourke PhD Scholarship''

The objectives of the award are to support:

• An ANU PhD student working in the area of pure (theoretical) mathematics;
• the advancement of women in the field of mathematics; and
• the teaching of mathematics at the Australian National University

Deadline for applications is May 31st 2018.
