Higher Frobenius-Schur indicators and eigenvalues of rotation in pivotal tensor categories, part 2

We'll discuss the notion of higher Frobenius-Schur indicators in pivotal fusion categories, why they're important, and how to compute them using only a small amount of data from the center of the category. Then we'll show how to compute the eigenvalues of the rotation operator in any planar algebra associated to this category using just the higher FS-indicator data, and how this process may provide obstructions to categorification of fusion rings. This talk is based on joint work with Henry Tucker.
