Pseudodifferential calculus on the Heisenberg group

Pseudodifferential calculus is an important tool both in PDEs and quantum mechanics. The main idea is that a very large class of operators, called “Pseudodifferential operators” can be represented using only functions, called the “symbols” of those operators. In my talk I’ll be showing the formation of these operators in the noncommutative case (Heisenberg group) giving brief description on how it is inspired by the analysis of the classical commutative case(Euclidean space).
