Description
Generated Jacobian equations are a relatively new family of partial differential equations. They generalise the Monge–Ampère equation and the Monge–Ampère type equations from optimal transport with the purpose of encompassing applications to geometric optics.
In this talk I'll provide some background on these equations and outline the results from my PhD. We discuss strict convexity, uniqueness, and global regularity.
