The facilities we make available to our researchers are state-of-the-art.


MSI offers all researchers up-to-date computing facilities, including access to a 272-core Linux cluster for computational work and extensive software products.

MSI researchers also have access to the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) supercomputer located on campus.

New building

The Mathematical Sciences Institute will be relocating mid 2018 to a new modern sustainable building with state of the art research and teaching facilities.

The building’s distinctive feature is the large collaborative staircase connecting the five levels.
