Sandra Jeyakumar is the Hilary Booth Scholarship 2020 recipient. Sandra moved to Canberra at the start of 2020 to pursue her Honours in Mathematics at MSI.

Sandra is interested in how mathematics provides a natural and logical way to approach any problem by breaking it down to the most fundamental level. "As someone who identifies as a problem solver, being exposed to higher-level mathematics at university was a revelation and prompted me onto my current path of pursuing it as a career," said Sandra.
