Sue Wilson named Honorary Senior Fellow of the Australian Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Society

This award recognises sustained outstanding contributions to the field of bioinformatics or computational biology.

In recognition of 'sustained excellence in bioinformatics based on contributions to the field in research, contributions to the research community, and leadership’, Emeritus Professor Sue Wilson has been presented with the inaugural ABACBS Honorary Senior Fellow Award. The ABACBS awards and prizes span all career stages for bioinformaticians and computational biologists, as well as recognising other aspects of the discipline.
