Abstract: I would like to share some things I learnt at a Geometric Group Theory Summer School a few weeks ago. We will begin with Artin and Coxeter groups and will highlight some known results and open problems in these groups, following lectures delivered by Kasia Jankiewicz. We will then look at Dyer groups and discuss profinite rigidity of Coxeter groups and Dyer groups, following lectures delivered by Olga Varghese
