AMSI Summer Research Scholarships

If you’re a third-year undergraduate, or an outstanding second-year student with departmental support, studying mathematical sciences or a related discipline at an AMSI Member University, apply now for a six-week summer research experience with an academic mentor.

You’ll receive a $3,000 scholarship, complete a research project, write a formal research report and share your experience through a blog post.

It’s an opportunity to explore your research interests, strengthen your academic and science communication skills, and gain valuable experience working as a researcher.

How to apply

1. Visit the program and eligibility requirements.

2. Speak with your university’s SRS contact or AMSI Member Representativeto identify a suitable research project and supervisor.

3. With your supervisor’s guidance, prepare a one-page research proposal, statement of results and letter of support.

4. Submit your application online.
