Applications for the summer research scholarship program have now closed
The Summer research scholarship program is aimed at undergraduate or honours students thinking about pursuing honours research in the future.
Summer Research Scholarships provide promising students with the opportunity to experience doing research in the mathematical sciences. This is particularly useful to students considering undertaking postgraduate research towards a higher degree. The scholarships provide contact with distinguished researchers in one of the top mathematics groups in Australia. They offer a challenging environment in which students have an opportunity to evaluate for themselves and to demonstrate to others, their potential for advanced research.
Students are eligible to apply for:
- MSI scholarship
- The ASD scholarship, offered by the national intelligence and information security agency Australian Signals Directorate in an area of number theory, cryptography or statistics.
- AMSI Vacation Research Scholarships 2016/17.
