We will start with the Serre spectral sequence, which computes the (co)homology of the total space of a fibration from the (co)homology of the fiber and base. We will use this to compute the cohomology of Eilenberg-MacLane spaces, which is the starting point for the Adams spectral sequence. The prerequisite is a first course in algebraic topology.
