The Computational Mathematics Seminar presents talks on the development of computational science & mathematics, including the mathematical / computational modelling of complex systems including their implementation issues and theoretical aspects.

It aims at enhancing connections among mathematics, computer science, and other research areas. It provides a platform for exchanging ideas and exploring collaborations in these fields.

A Split-Form, Stable, Hybrid Continuous/Discontinuous Galerkin Spectral Element Method for Wave Propagation

This talk will present a provably stable hybrid CG/DG method for hyperbolic systems that uses a split form of the equations and two-point fluxes to ensure stability for unstructured quadrilateral/hexahedral meshes with curved elements in three space dimensions.
