Abstract: In connection with his theory of dessins d'enfants, Grothendieck proposed a program to study regular polyhedra which has largely gone unnoticed.  In this talk we will explain the main features of this proposed theory.  We will present progress towards resolving a classification question proposed by Grothendieck and discuss relations with the triangular modular curves constructed by Clark and Voight.
